A bathroom in a Belsize Park flat was stripped out and rebuilt to a high standard. In a flat, a bathroom has to be completely watertight to protect the neighbours below, so waterproofing was at the centre of the work.

What mattered on this project
- Waterproofing before finishes. Tanking under tiles and around showers protects the building fabric and the flat below. It is the part of a bathroom you never see and the one that matters most.
- Working in a flat. Water shut-offs, noise and access were planned around the other residents.
